ARSHI is an independent collective magazine exploring where culture meets power.
Born between Amsterdam and Paris, ARSHI is an independent magazine founded by Shiraz Hasnaoui, a political science student with a passion for culture, art, and storytelling.
It was created out of curiosity rather than hierarchy, a desire to build an autonomous space where ideas, research, and creativity could meet freely.
ARSHI began as a way to translate academic work into accessible writing, transforming essays and reflections from universities into narratives that speak beyond the classroom.
It values clarity over jargon, emotion over detachment, and thought that feels as much as it thinks.
For now, ARSHI publishes the work of its founder and serves as a living archive of this ongoing exploration. Soon, it will open to new writers, artists, and thinkers who share the same urge to create independently.
